By Mabeni Aboh

President Bola Tinubu has returned to Nigeria after a 19-day trip to Europe, which began on April 2, 2025. Despite being away, Tinubu remained actively engaged in the country's governance, maintaining constant communication with key government officials and overseeing critical national matters.

According to Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Tinubu's absence did not disrupt governance. "The President's administration continues to function effectively under his leadership," Onanuga said.

During his time in Europe, Tinubu visited Paris and London, attending to diplomatic and official business. He also provided directives to security chiefs to address emerging threats in some parts of the country.

Upon his return to Abuja, Tinubu is set to resume his duties at Aso Villa. "Governance proceeds without interruption," Onanuga reassured Nigerians.

With Tinubu's return, Nigerians expect a renewed focus on addressing the country's pressing issues. The Presidency is likely to provide further updates on the President's agenda and priorities moving forward.
