Tinubu Returns from France to Unveil Bold Plans Ahead of 2nd Anniversary

By Achimi Muktar

After nearly three weeks in France on a working visit, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has landed back in Abuja—just in time to ignite preparations for the second anniversary of his administration.

Touching down on April 21, Tinubu’s return marks a strategic pivot toward policy review and renewed governance momentum as Nigeria approaches two years under his leadership.

According to his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the trip wasn’t just routine—it was a period of deep reflection and critical assessment. In France, Tinubu reportedly reviewed his administration’s performance, weighing the impact of key reforms introduced since his swearing-in in May 2023.

Now back at the State House, the President is expected to hit the ground running, engaging in a flurry of high-level meetings and policy evaluations to set the tone for the next chapter of his presidency.

With anniversary plans underway and expectations high, the political spotlight is firmly on Tinubu as he gears up to showcase achievements—and possibly unveil new initiatives—designed to drive Nigeria forward.

The stage is set, and all eyes are on Aso Rock.
