*Key Allegations:*
- *Personal Agenda*: Adoke claims Buhari had a personal vendetta against him for refusing to secure funds for Mohammed Sani Abacha, son of the late military ruler Sani Abacha.
- *Grand Conspiracy*: Adoke alleges a "grand conspiracy" was hatched in Abuja in 2015, involving Buhari, Osinbajo, Malami, and foreign NGOs like Global Witness.
- *Motivations*:
- *Buhari*: Exact revenge on Adoke for not helping Mohammed Sani Abacha.
- *Osinbajo*: Prove his legal expertise and potentially benefit from asset recovery.
- *Malami*: Rubbish Adoke due to past associations with the Abacha family.
- *Foreign NGOs*: Adoke accuses Global Witness and other NGOs of pursuing the case for grants and recognition, labeling them "gold diggers, glory hunters, and avengers".
*Court Rulings:*
- Adoke was discharged and acquitted in related charges filed before two federal high courts in Abuja.
- Courts in Italy, the UK, and Nigeria concluded there was no evidence of corruption and no proof Nigeria was short-changed in the deal .
